Our server backup script has hit a little snag. Our server admins are working to get the server back up. Expect the site back online within the hour.
Yes the site is down. Stay tuned for a more detailed status report later.
Edit: It was just a blip in our web server. The site was down for no more than 15 minutes.
Hey there fans, I’m Kon. I’m not too sure many of you remember me as it’s been a while since I’ve been here but I thought I’d stop by and do a little work here and there with these Ask Bleach7 questions since it seems right up my alley.
Question #1: Has there ever been, or will there ever be, some kind of international meeting of B7 members, where we can give hail to your awesome team in person? - interv
Answer: I wish. From my understanding there have been several team members that have met at Cons in various locations, but as far as an organized meet and greet per-say, not to my knowledge. I know it would have been great to be able to all come together and say hello and see some of your shining faces, but at our age (many of us still bound by the restraints of college), and with us all being at different locations throughout the country and the world. It’d just be very difficult to do. Although, that’s the wonder of the internet and this website. It’s still somewhere that we can all come together and hang out like life-long friends and enjoy eachother. Thanks for the question interv.
Question #2: I would like to know what brought all of you together at Bleach7. Did you know each other previously in real life? Did the internet simply magically bring you together? - Kagezetsumei
Answer: Well, besides my incredibly amazing personality…I have to say that this is one of the most wonderful sides of the internet. It can bring people from all over together for a common cause and allow us to generate something special via our creative abilities. In the beginning, when I started Bleach Forums (before Bleach7), I had kind of an open invitation for any and all interested in helping out with the website. This was not my first website that I built but it quickly became the largest project that I had undertaken in my previous 4-5yrs of working online. Thankfully, several people came in and quickly helped me pick up the pace and have been there from the start. Also, I have met several of them in real life, but not all. But as far as me telling you what drew most of them to Bleach7/BF, I really couldn’t tell you. So I think it’s only fair that they do. I’ll leave space for them to add a few words and say what brought them to the site if they feel like adding it…(besides my incredible personality that is.) Thanks for the inquiry Kagezetsumei!

Masquerader asks:
What is the relationship between Bleach7 and Maximum7?
To understand this, we should first go over a quick history of Maximum7, as its relationship with Bleach7 has changed over the years. As you should all know from the spamfest, Maximum7 was formed in a merger between the scanlation groups Manga7 and MaximumT. Manga7 was formed as an offshoot of Bleach7 as its official Bleach scanlation group. Another group of Bleach7 members got together and formed a scanlation group for the manga Trigun Maximum called MaximumT (get it?). Eventually, the two groups decided that it was in their best interest to combine resources to speed up both of their projects and that is how Maximum7 was formed, and became the official scanlation group of Bleach7. Fast forward to the middle of 2007 when Bleach7 was having its extended downtime. Maximum7 contacted Kon, the owner of Bleach7 at that time, and found out that the reason for the downtime was that he had been unable to pay the bill for the servers. Since Maximum7 had vast resources due to its long history in the manga community, they decided to secure a server for Bleach7 to get the site back on its feet. And from the point on, Maximum7, which has once been a child project of Bleach7, became the parent organization. So to sum up the answer to your question, Maximum7 is the official scanlation group of Bleach7, as well as its parent organization.
